Already used that.. It is still claimed that it’s not a proper word
“Administer”.
There seems to be some debate on the actual first appearance of the word but Reference.com pins it at around 1630–40 and Merriam-Webster at around 1550 but, yeah, I’d mark it as proper and we Yanks use it all the time.
So, current count is 2 for and one against it being a proper word… Thanks all who commented
