Going from Devon to Manchester was a bit of a dud but it was expected as there were about 6 changes. So we were bound to miss something. Regardless, when we complained we got a certain amount of miles worth of train tickets (enough from here to Manchester and back, which we wouldn't do again anyway xD) but yeah. I use the train a LOT. But that's local travelling. It's very cheap as well. For me. For example, a single, child bus ticket from my house just into town is £1.10 (I can walk there in under 20 minutes.) To get from town to practically the other side of the county is £2.70 Return. xD But that's just my experiences.
